Heretic is the seventh of ten tracks (eleven on the deluxe version) on Avenged Sevenfold's 2013 album, Hail to the King. This song is an homage to 1970's rock and metal, specifically Iron Maiden, and even more specifically the songs "Judgement Day", "In the Flames of Hell", "Witches", and "Saints."
