Mike Portnoy is an American musician and drummer who famously played for the progressive rock band Dream
Theater. He temporarily replaced drummer The Rev in the band Avenged Sevenfold to help them finish their fifth album Nighitmare, but then left the band immediately afterwards, replaced by Arin Ilejay.
